I have a Nikon D40 with a lens made by Sigma (18-200mm F3,5-6,3 DC OS) attached. The lens comes with a very useful optical stabilization. As external flash I use the Nikon SB-400. It's small and light but is much better than the build-in one because of the possibility to indirect flashing (bouncing).

Since October 2007 I own a GPS-tracker from Sony (CS-1). I think it's not sold anymore but I don't know why. Although it only has a Sirf II-chip I have good results and the fact that it takes AA-batteries is a plus.

Everything fits nicely in my red "Six Million Dollar Home" by Crumpler. The D40 is one of the smallest and lightest DSLR on the market. It's easy to use but tends to over-exposures. Nevertheless I can recommend it. I am thinking of upgrading to the new Nikon D90 though.

To not have to carry the "big" camera everywhere Cynthia has got a Sony DSC-W150. It's not a outstanding camera but the image-quality is good and it's really difficult to make bad shots (e.g. out-of-focus).
